This section lists the original PCL teams and where they are today. The original and current team locations is in boldface.
Los Angeles Angels - Los Angeles (1903-1957), Spokane (1958-71), Albuquerque (1972-2000), Portland (2001-10), Tucson (2011-2013) and El Paso (2014 - present).
Hollywood Stars - Originally Vernon (1909-13 & 1915-25), Venice (1913-14), SF Mission (1926-38) before moving to Hollywood (1939-57), Salt Lake (1958-1965), Tacoma (1966 - present)
San Diego Padres - Originally Sacramento (1909-14), SF Mission (1914), Salt Lake City (1915-25), Hollywood (1926-35) before moving to San Diego (1936-1968), and then Tucson (1969-2008), Reno (2009 - present)
San Francisco Seals - San Francisco (1903-1957), Phoenix (1958-59), Tacoma (1960-65), Phoenix (1966-97) and Fresno (1998-2019). Franchise was transferred to the California League in 2021.
Oakland Oaks - Oakland (1903-56), Vancouver (1957-62), Dallas (1963-64), Vancouver (1965-69), Salt Lake City (1970 - present).
Sacramento Solons - Originally the Portland Beavers (1903-1917), then Sacramento from 1918-1960, then Hawaii (1961-1987), then Colorado Springs (1988-2018), San Antonio (2019). Franchise was transferred to the Texas League in 2021.
Portland Beavers - Portland (1918-1972), Spokane (1973-82), Las Vegas (1983 - present)
Seattle Rainers - Seattle (1919-1968), Eugene (1969-1973), Sacramento (1974-77), San Jose (1977-78), Ogden (1978-1980), Edmonton (1981-2004), Round Rock (2005 - present)
The current Sacramento franchise started as an "expansion franchise" in Vancouver (1978-99) before moving to Sacramento in 2000.
